It was the first weekend of October. October 8th, 2010-to be exact.  We decided to celebrate our birthdays by staying in the most amazing hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Our room overlooked Heinz stadium, PNC Park, and one of the  three rivers. I was so thrilled to celebrate my October 5th birthday and his October 8th birthday in such a fun and romantic way. After a wonderful meal and drinks with our dearest friends Vince suggested that we take a 10 min drive to Mount Washington...one of the best places to overlook the skyline of the city of Pittsburgh. As we walk hand-in-hand staring in amazement at the view of the city, he stopped abruptly and got down on one knee. With tears in his eyes and a giant smile on his face he asked me to be his wife!

On October 8th, 2011, a year exactly from the day he proposed and on his
birthday (!) I will marry my best friend and soul mate!
